info About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Developer / Tech Lead with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Odoo ERP custom development, module creation, system integrations, and migration. In this role, you will lead end-to-end Odoo implementations, design complex enterprise architecture, optimize performance, and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Customization: Design, build, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules from scratch across core functional domains (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, eCommerce).

• System Integration: Integrate Odoo with 3rd-party platforms (payment gateways, logistics/shipping APIs, legacy ERPs, CRM tools, e-commerce stores) using REST/XML-RPC APIs.

• Architecture & Migration: Oversee version upgrades, database migrations, and schema design across multiple Odoo Community & Enterprise versions (Odoo v14 to v18+).

• Performance Tuning: Optimize PostgreSQL database queries, perform code reviews, fix bottlenecks, and ensure application security and scalability.

• Frontend Customization: Develop and customize UI elements using OWL (Odoo Web Library), QWeb templates, XML views, and JavaScript.

• DevOps & Deployment: Setup, configure, and maintain Odoo instances on cloud environments (Odoo.sh, AWS, DigitalOcean, Docker, Nginx).

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions, analyze functional requirements, translate business needs into technical scope documents, and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience in Odoo ERP development and deployment.

• Backend: Advanced proficiency in Python, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and ORM principles.

• Frontend: Strong experience with OWL Framework, JavaScript, XML, QWeb, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Database: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, query optimization, triggers, and relational database architecture.

• API Integration: Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, XML-RPC, and JSON-RPC.

• Tools & Environment: Proficient with Git/GitHub, Linux environments (Ubuntu), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Version Expertise: Thorough understanding of both Odoo Enterprise and Odoo Community editions.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Odoo.sh deployment and platform management.

• Knowledge of Python-based asynchronous frameworks or microservices.

• Background in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint planning.

• Odoo Functional Certification or official Odoo partner agency background.
